The Kagero project is a collaboration between Leader Bike and PEDAL Consumption. In 2009, Leader bike and PC began discussions on creating a high-end collaboration frameset for production purposes. It's no secret of my love for Lo-Pro style frames, so it was quite easy when it came to deciding what type of frame style we wanted to design. After numerous revisions through prototype testing, we have achieved what we have finally sought after… a blissful Lo-Pro style aluminum frameset that is aggressive, strong, stiff, light, and above all… FAST.
Throughout the Kagero’s entire design process, we made sure every detail was not overlooked. At first glance, the Kagero is characterized by smooth welds, compact geometry, and subtle branding. Paying homage to my family crest, we enlisted the creative mind of Jeck Ebreo to design a head tube logo that truly represents this frame. The final touches consisted of using metallic gunmetal gray that displays a radiant shine throughout the frameset. Also, we included a custom laser-etched PC seat collar to finalize the process.
With its branded high-end double-butted aluminum tubing, aggressive Pista style track fork, seamless rear dropouts... we highly recommend the Kagero for the street, track, and everyday bombing.
